A 38-year-old man had been arrested with 1.157 kilogrammes of methamphetamine (ice) and 413 grams of hashish at Wattala last afternoon, the police said.
The drugs were found in a three-wheeler on information received by the Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB).
The suspect, identified as Selvakumar Selvadurai of Wattala.
The three-wheeler and Rs. 124,980 cash were also taken into custody. The suspect is to be produced in the Wattala Magistrate’s Court today.
