A 43-year-old man was arrested with 300 grammes of heroin during a raid at Daluwakotuwa in Negombo.
Police said the suspect, resident of Daluwakotuwa would be produced in the Negombo Magistrate's Court.
Meanwhile, the Kandy Police arrested a woman on possession with 62 grammes of heroin yesterday.
They also recovered Rs, 50,880 in cash from the woman's possession.
The 32-year-old woman, resident of Medawachchiya would be produced in the Kandy Magistrate's Court.
