'Lonsina' and 'Karadaraya' arrested with heroin

Two suspects identified as Thennakoon Arachchige Ajith alias 'Lonsina, and Pradeep Senadheera alias ' Karadaraya' were arrested in possession of heroin in Katunayake yesterday.

The Katunayake police searched a car on the Negombo - Katunayake Road following a tip off and recovered 100 grames of heroin from the suspects.

Police said the suspects aged 30 and 38, residents of Katiyala in Negombo and Minuwangoda would be produced in the Negombo Magistrate's Court.
