Three people including two women were killed when they were struck by lightning at Chunnakam, north of Jaffna police area last afternoon, Police said.
They said the victims were identified as aged between 38 and 49 years and residents of Kuppilan Southern area. They had been struck by lightning when they were drying the paddy in an open area. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
