The issuing of driving licences at the Department of Motor Traffic Werahera branch (DMT) would be temporarily suspended only for tomorrow, DMT acting Commissioner General Upali Jayasekara said.
He said the department had decided to introduce a new token system to ease the issuing of driving licences.
"The new system will be introduced to staff members of the DMT Werahera branch tomorrow.
Therefore, the department had decided to suspend the issuing of driving licences only for tomorrow," he said. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
