Lankadeepa wins most popular newspaper award

Our sister papers Daily Lankadeepa and and Sunday Lankadeepa won the most popular newspaper award for the tenth  consecutive time  at  “SLIM-Nielsen Peoples Awards’ last night.

The awards ceremony was organised by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) together with Nielsen Research Agency in Sri Lanka.

The Peoples Awards stands out from other awards ceremonies as it allows the public to rate their favourite brands, personalities, advertisements, films, tele-dramas etc.

The award ceremony was held at a gala ceremony at Waters Edge on Saturday night. Daily Lankadeepa Associate Editor Indrani Peiris is seen receiving the award from award committee member Roshan Fernando. Pic by Gayan Amarasekera.
