The wife of Lahugala Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman has been hospitalised after being beaten by the Chairman and another woman.
The Chairman’s wife had visited a house upon a tip-off where she had found her husband with another woman. The heated argument between the two parties had resulted in the Chairman's wife being wounded and hospitalised.
Subsequently, she was admitted to the Base Hospital, Potuvil.
The woman who was alongside the Chairman, has been arrested while the Chairman is yet to be arrested.
