Underworld figure Sinhara Amal Silva alias 'Kudu Anju' who is reportedly hiding in a foreign country had celebrated the death of rival underworld figure Devmuni Rohana de Silva alias ‘Ratmalane Roha.’
Ratmalane Roha was killed in an retaliation with the police at Kochchikade in Negombo yesterday.
Kudu Anju and Ratmalane Roha became rivals following the death of Kudu Anju's brother.
Kudu Anju’s brother Suresh Asanka de Silva alias Lansiya was killed by ‘Ratmalane Roha’ at Ratmalana in 2016.
Ratmalane Roha was arrested over the Lansiya’s murder and was released on bail on January 16 this year.
Ratmalane Roha was hiding in Kochchikade to flee to India in a trawler and was shot dead during a shootout with the police.
Police said the suspect was wanted over drugs trafficking and several murders.
After the death of gangster Roha, Kudu Anju has posted several posts on the Facebook page ‘Sinhara Amal’.
In some of posts, Kudu Anju warned to kill all who would attend Roha's funeral.
He warned not to bring the last remains of Roha to home and urged to conduct funeral rites at the hospital itself.
