Priyantha was the seventh accused in the case, the other suspects were released on bail.
On an earlier occasion, the CID told Chief Magistrate Gihan Pilapitiya that the extracts of the investigation had been sent to the Attorney General for his advise and as such the case was postponed for June 27.
Among the items that were robbed were 10 gold plated ceremonial swords, one gem studded cornelian gold ring, 93 gold coins, 18 silver rings, 50 silver coins, 9 lead coins, 34 currency notes, 1 gold and silver sword, 2 gem studded walking stick handles and 1 silver and gold worked belt and priceless gold and silver-inlay-ed ceremonial swords.
