Justice Jayamanne sworn in as Fiji’s new HC judge

The Former Additional Solicitor General, Sarath Jayamanne has sworn in as Fiji's new High Court judge.


Justice Jayamanne joined the Fijian judiciary after being sworn-in by President Jioji Konousi Konrote yesterday.


The new judge has served in the Sri Lankan judiciary for 26 years as a prosecutor and prior to his appointment in Fiji, he was the Additional Solicitor General with responsibilities such as conducting special cases and supervising the work of junior prosecutors.  (The Fiji Times)
