A 24-year old jailor of the Anuradhapura Prison had been arrested on charges of possession of heroin inside the prison, the police said.
They said the Chief Superintendent of the prison has arrested the jailor and handed over to the Anuradapura Police last evening.
The suspect, a resident of Nittambuwa would be produced in the court today.
