Senior DIG Jagath Abeysiri Gunawardene has been appointed as the Senior DIG in charge of Elections,police said.
His appointment was approved by the National Police Commission (NPC) in addition to the Senior DIG in-charge of the Western Province and the Motor Traffic Division.
