A female teacher of an international school who organized a party on her son's birthday, was arrested with drugs along with another 11 youth at a two-storey house in Pamankada in Wellawatte, Police said.
They said the raid was conducted by the Wellawatte Police following a tip off that a group of youth attending a party at the house and consuming drugs.
Police said that the two sons of the suspect teacher were also taken into custody.
Police found 10g of Ice (methamphetamine) substance and over 2,000mg of marijuana from their possession during the raid.
The 41-year-old teacher, another woman and 12 young boys aged between 18 and 26 were arrested.
Police said the suspects were released on bail after being produced before the Mt. Lavinia Magistrate.
The case will be taken up again on May 13. (Darshana Sanjeewa Balasuriya)
