Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan welcomed Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa’s assurance given to allow burial of those who succumbed to COVID-19.
“We welcome Sri Lankan PM Mahinda Rajapaksa’s assurance given in Sri Lankan Parliament today allowing Muslims to bury those who died from COVID-19,” the PM tweeted.
The Pakistan Premier is scheduled to visit Sri Lanka at the end of this month.
