While saying he had spoken to MP Ranjan Ramanayke on a few occasions, Speaker Karu Jayasuriya said in Parliament yesterday he had no idea whether Mr Ramanayake had recorded those phone conversations.
The Speaker said this in response to a question asked by government MP Nimal Lansa that the CDs were taken away from Parliament because of the phone conversations which Mr Ramanayke had with the Speaker. (Yohan Perera and Ajith Siriwardana)
