The driver of the Defender vehicle which involved in the hit and run accident in Bambalapitiya yesterday was remanded till March 11.
The seven other suspects including MP Mahindananda Aluthgamage's son were released on bail.
Borella Police Traffic OIC was injured when the motorbike he was riding on got hit by the Defender vehicle on the Galle Road yesterday.
