The Health Ministry today urged people to refrain from creating fake news in connection with deaths occur due to COVID-19.
The Ministry said in a statement that it was observed that some politicians and websites are spreading false propaganda over cremation or burial of COVID-19 victims.
The Health Ministry further said that according to the reports received from the experts, the remains of all those who die of COVID-19 will be cremated.
