Intending to bring the bus service back to normal, the Government decided to continue with the inter-provincial bus services in the face of the COVID-19 epidemic.
While addressing the weekly media briefing, the cabinet spokesman said approval has been granted to waive the update charges, delay charges, tender fees, log clearance fees, entry fees and fees to use expressway, temporary permit charged by bus operators till the end of 2020.
Since it appears that it may take some more time to bring the bus service back to normal.
The concessions were given out as follows:
• Charging the higher amount of the two, 10% of the annual tender fee or a Rs. 15,000
• Charging 10% of the express licence fee for using the expressway
• Release from Log and Access Fees
