The prices of fuel would be increased with effect from midnight today, the Finance Ministry said.
Accordingly, the prices of fuel would be increased as follows:
A litre of petrol (Octane 92) would be increased by Rs.3 and the revised price is Rs.135. Petrol (Octane 95) would now be sold at Rs.164, after an increase by Rs. 5 a litre.
A litre of Super Diesel would be increased by Rs. 2 and the new price would be Rs.136.
However, the price of Auto Diesel would remain unchanged.
