Four police officers attached to the Bambalapitiya Police Station have been placed under self-quarantine after they have visited the Peliyagoda Fish Market, the Bambalapitiya Police said.
The four officers had been conducting their official duties in relation to the temporary closure of the Peliyagoda Fish Market.
The police officers had been sent for self-quarantine following PCR tests as a precautionary measure.
Two police officers are undergoing self-quarantine at the Bambalapitiya Police Station while the other two will undergo self-quarantine at their residences.
