Former Chairman of Arachchikattuwa Pradeshiya Sabha, SLPP MP Samantha Perera who was arrested over alleged illegal clearance of a section of the Anawilundawa Wildlife Sanctuary was granted bail today by the Puttalam District Judge and Magistrate Anura Indrajith Buddhadasa.
MP Perera was remanded by the Chilaw Magistrate after he surrendered to the court last Tuesday and he was released today on two surety bails of Rs. 1 million each. By Augustin Fernando
