Female heroin-peddler nabbed at Dematagoda

Police Narcotic Bureau arrested a woman who was found in possession of 55.39 grams of heroin worth Rs.180,000 in a housing complex at Dematagoda a short while ago, Police said.

Police said the suspect, identified as Almadura Dhammika Silva had found Rs.185, 000 in cash in the apartment.

The raid was conducted by the Police Narcotic Bureau under the direction of Inspector Ranga Jeewa and Sub Inspector Ruwan Kumara. The suspects will be produced at the maligawatte Magistrate’s Court
