The Financial Crime Investigation Division (FCID) recorded over five-hour long statement from Minister Rishad Bathiudeen over an alleged financial misappropriation.
Police said the minister was summoned by the FCID to record a statement in connection with financial misappropriation which taken when importing 257,000MT of rice for Lanka Sathosa during 2014/15.
