One Sri Lankan was confirmed dead while another one was critically injured in an explosion that occurred at a restaurant in Abu Dhabi last Monday, the Sri Lankan Embassy in United Arab Emirates (UAE) said today.
The Embassy said the inured was receiving treatment at the ICU in hospital.
The Sri Lanka Embassy officials visited the hospital to verify and confirm information regarding the Sri Lankans and the Embassy and the Foreign Ministry are in contact with the UAE law enforcement and hospital authorities to provide necessary assistance.
