A 72-year-old Covid-19 infected woman died at the Homagama hospital today, reporting the 8th COVID-19 death in Sri Lanka, Director Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe said.
He said the deceased is a resident of Polpithigama, Kurunegala.
A 48-year-old male died at the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) due to Coronavirus, reporting the 7th COVID-19 death in Sri Lanka on April 08.
