Dinesha Sandamali alias ‘Thotalanga Kudu Sanda’ had been arrested over drug trafficking charges by the Welikada Police on the new Kolonnawa Road in Rajagiriya.
Police said the woman was arrested using an undercover agent.
Following the interrogation, the police recovered 25 grams of heroin at a house at Methsanda Sevana housing complex in Thotalanga.
Investigation revealed that the 36-year-old woman had been involved in drug trafficking for some time and that she was capable of delivering any amount of heroin to buyers anywhere.
Police also seized several ATM cards and mobile phones in her possession.
