Litro Litro Lanka Company Head Vijitha Herath requested the public not to stand in queues as the Company doesn't have gas to deliver at present.
He further assessed that the stocks in hand could only be released to the industrial requirement
. He also said US$ 7 million had already been paid to import domestic gas. Accordingly, the company is expecting two gas shipments on Friday (12) and Saturday (13).
Until the consignments reach the shores, there will be no gas supply for domestic purposes, the chairman said. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
