Colombo, April 24 (Daily Mirror) - Popular actress Damitha Abeyratne and her husband, who were held in remand custody over an alleged financial fraud, were today ordered to be released on bail by the Colombo Fort Magistrate's Court.
The two suspects were ordered to be released on a surety bail of Rs. 5 million each by Magistrate Koshala Senadheera.
A police complaint had been lodged accusing Damitha and her husband of cheating Rs. 3 million by promising to provide job opportunities for several persons in Korea.
