The Police have located the Covid-19 infected female who had run away while undergoing treatment at the Infection Disease Hospital (IDH) in Angoda on Thursday (19).
She was found at the Sidurangala area in Eheliyagoda. Search operations were carried out to locate the Covid-19 infected female inmate who ran away with her two years and eight months old child.
However, the officials located the child from the Eheliyagoda area yesterday morning.
Police said the 26-year-old woman Ruwani Nisansala, was transferred to the IDH from the Kuruwita prison after she contracted Covid-19.
The child was also undergoing treatment at the IDH after tested positive with Covid-19.
