Five more Covid-19 related deaths were reported today bringing the death toll to 129, the Department of Government Information said.
Accordingly, four males aged 89, 85, 71, 78 and a female aged 56 are among the deceased.
The victims are residents of Kolonnawa and Colombo.
Four of the deceased individuals succumbed to the virus at the National Hospital Colombo while the 71-year-old male passed away at his residence.
All the victims were suffering from chronic diseases like diabetes, heart diseases and high blood pressure apart from Covid-19 infection. (Sheain Fernandopulle)
