The total number of COVID-19 patients reported from the Police Department increased to 1,310 as of today.
Of them, 44 are members of VIP security unit and only two officers are still receiving treatment at the hospital.
Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said that out of the total number of cases reported within the police, only 200 officers are under medical care at hospitals.
