The closure of schools in the Galle Education Zone will continue till this Friday (11), Southern Province Education Ministry Secretary Ranjith Yapa said.
He said the decision was taken following a discussion held this morning with the Provincial Education Director and the Southern Province Governor.
At this meeting, discussions were held on the spreading of COVID-19 within the zone.
Accordingly, 26 schools in the Galle Education Zone will be closed till Friday, he said. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
