Mohamed Aliyar, a close associate of National Thowheed Jamath (NTJ) leader Mohamed Zahran, was arrested by the Kattankudy Police this afternoon.
Police said the suspect, had carried out financial transaction with suicide bomber Mohamed Zahran.
The 60-year-old suspect, who is a resident of Meththapalli Road in Kattankudy would be detained for further questioning, police said.
