All Island Canteen Owners’ Association (AICOA) Chairman Asela Sampath was arrested today by the Colombo Fort police a short while ago, Police said.
Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said Asela Sampath was arrested upon an open warrant issued by the court.
The suspect would be produced before the Fort Magistrate today, the spokesman added
