A few Muslim organizations, including Ceylon Thowheed Jamath and Sri Lanka Thowheed Jamath will be summoned to testify before Parliamentary Select Committee today (PSC) over the Easter Sunday bomb attacks.
A member of the Select committee who did not wish to be named said the decisions to summon the Muslim organizations by the committee members who met last afternoon.
Members of the committee JVP MP Nalinda Jayatissa, MP Asu Marasinghe, Jayamapathi Wickramaratne and Rajitha Senaratne were among the members who met last afternoon.
Also the committee had prepared a list of persons who are to be summoned before the committee in the future. Sources said a list of about 15 were prepared yesterday.
The committee had decided to conduct some of the proceedings without media coverage and it was also mentioned that State Intelligence Chief may be summoned later.(Yohan Perera and Ajith Siriwardana)
