Eighteen more COVID-19 infected patients recovered and were discharged from hospitals today increasing the total number of recovered cases to 538, the Health Ministry said.
Accordingly, seven patients each were discharged from the IDH Hospital and the Homagama Hospital while 3 patients from the Colombo East Hospital and one from the Iranawila Hospital.
The ministry said that 413 patients are still under medical care at hospitals.
Meanwhile, the Navy said that another twelve naval personnel infected with coronavirus were discharged from the hospitals yesterday.
They said a total of 189 naval personnel out of the total number of infected ones, have been discharged from hospitals so far.
