The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) informed Colombo Additional Magistrate R.U.Jayasuriya that the investigations into the alleged negligence of duties by the former Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Pujith Jayasundera have been concluded.
They further told the Magistrate that on conclusion of the investigations, they had send the extracts of their findings to the Attorney General for his perusal and opinion.
Further inquiry was postponed for March 14. (T. Farook Thajudeen)
