The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has arrested the couple who were involved in a pornographic video at the Pahanthudawa waterfall in Balangoda, which is now widely circulated on social media.
The Computer Crimes Unit of the CID traced the couple after they launched the investigation following the strong protest from various parties.
According to the investigations, it was revealed that more than 50 similar pornographic videos hsd been filmed before by the couple at various attractive places in several parts of the country.
It was also reported that such videos are made for pornographic websites and they make money from it.
The 34-year-old male suspect and 24-year-old woman are residents of Maharagama and Elpitiya respectively.(Darshana Sanjeewa Balasuriya)
