The body of the country’s first coronavirus victim, Elangampedige Dharmasiri Janananda, was cremated under tight security and under international health specifications at the Kotikawatta crematorium a short while ago.
The 60-year-old COVID-19 patient from Marawila who was undergoing treatment at the Infectious Diseases Hospital (IDH), Angoda, passed away yesterday.(Sandun Jayasekara)
