The National Election Commission warned social media users and administrators against uploading and posting marked ballot papers on social media.
The Commission said voting at polling stations should not be photographed, videotaped and released on social media networks.
"We have received cases regarding voting opportunities at the polling stations and incidents where marked ballot papers have been photographed, videotaped and released on social networks.
“Posting such photographs and videos is a violation of election laws,” the EC reiterated. (Sheain Fernandopulle)
