MP Rajitha Senaratne today filed a fresh anticipatory bail application in the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court seeking an order to prevent his arrest in connection with the ‘white van news conference’ held on November 10.
He had filed his initial anticipatory bail application on December 19 seeking an order to prevent his arrest. However, the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court rejected it on the basis that it could not be granted on uncertain charges. (Yoshitha Perera)
