Anti-SAITM protest teargassed

Police used water cannons and fired teargas to disperse the protesting students of the Inter University Students Federation (IUSF) outside the Higher Education Ministry at Ward Place in Colombo 7 a short while ago.

The students were protesting against the SAITM. (Thilanka Kanakarathna)
