Akkaraipattu Dy. Mayor arrested

Akkaraipattu Deputy Mayor Abdul Gafoor Azmi was today arrested by the Terrorist Investigation Division (TID).

Police said he was arrested after he failed to appear in Court in connection with an ongoing case.

He is to be produced in the Colombo Magistrate’s Court today.
