A couple who had been acting agents of drug kingpin Chaminda Rohana Manju alias 'Kalu Sagara' had been arrested with 500 grams of heroin during a raid at Heenatikumbura in Talangama, Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said.
He said that the couple had been handled by 'Kalu Sagara' and his paramour ‘Muthu’ who are living in Dubai.
DIG Rohana said the couple aged 30 and 33 were identified as residents of Nonagama and Ambalantota.
They are expected to be produced in the Kaduwela Magistrate’s Court. (DSB)
