Joint opposition MP Sriyani Wijewickrama today complained that government MP Wijepala Hettiarachchi had abused her verbally.
“The MP had made nasty remarks about me and violated my parliamentary privileges," she said.
Speaker Karu Jayasuriya who assured the MP that he would look into the matter requested her to submit a written complaint. (YP)
