33 skulls unearthed in Matale

Thirty three skulls and skeletal remains have been found at the Matale hospital premises so far, police said.
These skulls and skeletal remains were found while digging trenches to lay the foundation for the proposed bio-gas unit of the Matale Hospital.
Further excavations are being carried out in the site while the police are conducting further investigations with the CID.
