A 26 hour water cut will take effect in parts of Colombo from 9am today to 11am tomorrow (September 26th) owing to essential repairs being done in the area, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board told Daily Mirror online.
The affected areas include Colombo Fort, Grandpass, Mattakkuliya, Crow Island, Kotahena, Aluthmawatha road, Colombo Port and all by-roads in the area.
The public is advised to store sufficient water in advance to avoid discomfort. (Daily Mirror online)
