A total of 235 officers attached to the police stations in the Western Province have been contracted with Covid-19 as of today.
Six officers among them were recover and discharged from hospitals.
Accordingly, the number of patients receiving treatment at present is 229.
At least 300 officers have been sent to quarantine centers while the number of officers directed to self-quarantine is 1,425.
