229 stranded Lankans in Nepal, Israel arrive

Two special SriLankan Airlines flights carrying 229 Sri Lankans stranded in Nepal and Israel due to COVID- 19, arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), Katunayake last night.

The SriLankan Airlines flight UL-182 from Kathmandu, Nepal arrived at Katunayake at 5.20 pm with 26 Sri Lankan passengers. 203 Sri Lankans who went Jordan for employment arrived at BIA yesterday by a special SriLankan Air UL-1206 from Jordan.

Upon their arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, all passengers were taken to the PCR tests and were directed to quarantine centres. (T.K.G Kapila)
