The Examination Department is hoping to release the results of the 2022 (2023) GCE Advanced Level (A/L) examination by August, Commissioner General of Examinations H.J.M.C. Amith Jayasundara said.
Addressing the media, he said the Ordinary Level (O/L) exam starts on May 29 and will be held until June 8 around the country.
"Soon after the exam ends, the department is hoping to start the scrutiny of science subjects and hopes to end the process by the end of June. The department is also hoping to start the scrutiny of language subjects at the beginning of July along with the practical exams," he said.
However, with the scrutiny of all the A/L subjects, the department is hoping to release the exam results by August, the Commissioner General added. (Chaturanga Pradeep Samarawickrama)
